pensée au printemps

Shhhhh!!!

Photo via Flickr
We mustn't be too loud, as she is starting to stir.
I am getting so excited anticipating her
awakening!

So many things to do, like clean, clean, clean!
It is time to launder the white linens and scrub
the floors. That fine antique French furniture
will get another coat of beeswax too.

Time to cast open those shutters and
welcome her gentle breeze.

Time for fresh little French touches around the house.

And a cafe on the sidewalk.

All in anticipation of her arrival.
Don't you just love to see her work her magic?
Just wanted to wish you a wonderful
Spring Day!

I do hope you get a chance to stop by
European Antique Market in Louisville.
The wisteria will be blooming soon!
Bisou!

It's a lovely feeling when the light returns in spring! I'm looking forward to the first tiny green leaves on the trees and to the cherry blossoms in May...
Thank you for a lovely post!

Lovely, lovely post!
The wisteria here exploded a few weeks or so, and that perfume is just intoxicating - the delicate purple petals are constantly raining on my deck now. Ahhhh Spring!

Lovely post! You had me for a moment, I thought there was something nesting in those rocks in the first photo! LOL Ah thank the Lord that spring has finally arrived. We need it very badly. The winter has been so bitter and nasty in the north. HOORAY for spring!!
