Simply French

I had to do a test on these videos!

Chef Gregoire Guiot of
Mirabelle Gourmet Catering

At my shop, "European Antique Market", we are
all about the authentic French Lifestyle!
Several years ago, a customer walked through
my door, because he was homesick and needed
a fix. The "Law of Attraction", in action!

Fast forward, we are now great friends and
do what we can to promote one another's
business. We have a common bond....
The Love of France!

European Antique Market started hosting
cooking classes titled "Simply French",
taught by the talented Parisian trained,
Chef Greg. He has developed somewhat of
a cult following, but if you ever tasted his
cuisine, you would understand why.
Makes for a nice ambiance, feasting on
French food, surrounded by French antiques.

My brother Regan, who owns 2Thomases Video,
was kind enough to put together a video in
exchange for a dinner from Chef Greg.
So here they are!

This one is just an overview

Sauce Mouselline

Dessert...Chocolate Souffle

So what do you think? Is a cable tv show on
the horizon?

Hope you enjoyed them and if you happen to
be near Louisville, drop by our "Fete de Noel"
next weekend.
Guess who's making the Bouche de Noels!
Chef Greg even imports all the wonderful
garnishes from France! Yum Yum!

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Bisou and have a great weekend!

Love the cooking videos! I sure hope he will have a TV show soon. He was easy to follow and the music perfect choice only a wee bit loud for my hearing him.
Since Pepin isn't on anymore we need French cooking, especially the simple dishes.
Let us know when he will be on TV. I can see the show now.

It all looked so good. Yes, I do see a new French cooking show on the horizon, but they'd have to use your shop as the backdrop because it's so beautiful!!

Does he import them to England? The sound on computer has packed up so I can't hear him :(

Definitely worth broadcasting. But should it be on the Food Network for the cooking or HGTV for the beautiful setting?!

looks like so much fun! If I was local, I would be all over this :)
I love how you thought 'outside the box' to create an event that would stretch your marketing potential beyond that of a typical antique dealer/store.
I hope you had a nice thanksgiving.

I just got back from an antiquing excursion to the Paris flea markets. Paris is quite outrageous. The food, the museums, the antiques markets. I really enjoyed it.
I like your blog and will continue to stop by and say hello. I will be making an attempt to try some cooking on my own. Thanks for the wonderful info you provide. Felicia

Hi Shawn,

Wonderful videos! Chef Greg is a nice alternative to watch rather then the plethora of chefs on television who are too flamboyant and at times downright ridiculous.

Bravo to him and to you especially Shawn for sharing these intriguing videos with everyone. Wish I could have been there!

Cheers,
June
